I still wonder why John Kerry and the Democratic party who has assured us that all the votes will be counted or even making sure in taking the necessary time needed to find out the possible voter frauds in parts of the country decided to just give up. Why John why? So you don't want the pull the country in long legal battles of the votes being counted ? You have failed to learn their history. Back in 2000 it had taken 36 days to determine if either George W. Bush or Al Gore was to be the next President. Within the 36 days the Republicans have challenged and fought hard to ensure that Bush was to be next President. So if it will take 8 to 10 days or 36 days to count all the votes then so be it. You just can not give up even if know that all the votes counted would possible to win the election. It's not about expediency it's about the principle of having the all the votes counted.
In the past two weeks there has been a lot of news about the Bush administration. A number of Bush's key lieutenants has left their post and replaced with hard-line very right wing idealouges. Such examples as : The religious nutcase-singing Attorney General John Ashcroft's replacement for his position is former Bush lawyer Alberto Gonzales a Bush toady that goes back when he was Governor of Texas. Gonzales, a man without any legal records of trying a case in civil or criminal court or wrote any legal opinion on a case was appointed to Texas Supreme Court under then-Governor Bush. Despite that Gonzales was the man who determined that the Geneva Convention of holding enemies does not apply to the prisoners in prison camps in Guantanamo Bay and in Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. From that decision well, I don't have to tell you of what happened there. To see this click this link : http://wid.ap.org/documents/doj/gonzales.pdf
In a recent development, Colin Powell the first black secretary of the State Department decided to leave the Bush administration and for good reason. He was tired of the BS that Bush and his ilk was running on. Powell while serving his tenure in the State Department privately opposed Bush's hardline approaches in America's reputation in the world. As being the voice of reason Powell had to tow the line for Bush. Powell's replacement for the Secretary of State is National Security Advisor Condolezza Rice. You will know about Condi Rice's reputation more right-wing more like Bush, and a ditz who can't secure a mall much less the nation. One important fact about Dr. Rice is that she has testified to the 9/11 commission telling them that very important August 6, 2001 PDB of "Bin Laden Determined to attack the United States" was a "historical document". Condi, when you have a memo that states that Osama bin Laden will possibly would attack the U.S. which is a real threat and call it a "historical document" then you are not doing your job as National Security Advisor. What are doing for you to possibly say that ? Are you screwing him? Do you kiss Bush's ass everyday ? What in the hell are doing when you saying things like that Condi ? Threats like this as a "National Security Advisor " should be taken seriously not brush it off like you said to the 9/11 Commission.

Now that Condi Rice is going to be the face of representing the U.S. in the world, her hard-line, right-wing reputation now proceeds her. It's very dangerous for our nation for a person like Condolezza Rice would further endanger the world and damage our reputation. More and more people Bush liutentants are leaving or considering leaving their posts in the administration. People like Education Secretary Rod Paige, Don Evans, Commerce Secretary, Norman Minneta a former Clinton appointee as Transportation Secretary, Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman, and Spencer Abraham former Michigan Senator and Energy Department secretary who avocated drill for oil in ANWAR (Alaska National Wildlife Artic Refuge) These same people whom had corporate connections in getting their jobs and may have some reservation in going Bush's neoconservative, hard-line agenda is being replaced with more hard-line, neoconservative and more right-wing cabinet that will emerge in Bush's second term and literally ruin the country and the world by pressing their repressive hard-line agenda.
The Bush supporters that have put him back in office would see the choice they have made was a very bad one. They would soon realize of what Bush is doing in the next four years of his hard-right wing ways and attempts for imperialistic misaventures will be futile. They will found out that Bush does not care for the middle-class people but his fellow rich billionaires. With all the incompetent nicopoops in the Bush administration when would they stop supporting and enabling them ? When they make a major mistake that place us at a highest risk of danger? When would the Bush backer realize that?
Now that half of the logically-minded people noticed that the second Bush term will be more right-wing and his lieutenants nor Bush or Cheney would listen to reason and logic we have lot of work a head of us. We for one must continue to bring up the progressive voice and spread it further in the country. We need to reach those in the 28 red states that voted for Bush in the Presidential election . Within those states they are progressive-minded who agree with our ideals. We definitely need to empower them and bring them into the fold. Since the mainstream news networks are Bush-friendly by their corporate owners there needs to be a rise of non-mainstream and alternate news to get a well rounded prospective of the world around us. With in the few months these alternative sources has been rising up in the past year. Examples like Air America Radio and other non-mainstream media is a good start. We also need to build up the similar infrastructure like the conservatives have. We are starting to build that up hopefully that will be in placed in 2008. Next, and its most importantly we need give the Democratic Party some cajones to stand up against the Republicans.
The Dems for the past two decades have been afraid to stand up against the Conservatives because of them being branded of being liberal and progressive. The keep caving in to the Republicans by trying to imitate them. Which proved to be a disaster for the Democrats. Now after our disappointing defeat in the presidential, U.S. Senatorial and Congressional Elections we need the more progressive and liberal groups and factions to be involved in rebuilding the Democrats as the party that fights for the little guy and won't be afraid to stand up for what they believe in.
For those who care about this country these are your marching orders: Get off your ass and stop whining about what Bush and his ilk are doing to us . Stop the whining and stand up and start fighting Bush and his ilk for imposing their idiotic, repressive, right-wing ,imperialist agenda.
And build the Democratic party to a lean mean fighting machine to stand up against the Republicans. Remember this people:FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!!!!!!!
