Shock and Awe : Two years later

Two years ago George W. Bush waged war to a county that had not even attacked the United States. Since we were conned and convinced that Iraq is a real threat to us it has led to our evetnual downfall. In the beginning we were told that the war was going to be a "cakewalk" and the weapons that we were using (mostly bombs) was the"shock and awe" in taking out Saddam Hussein and his henchmen. The national media were cheerleading for it. "Embedding" the journalists with Army troops to stage in the American psyche that our boys are kicking ass and taking names. In May after the fall of the Saddam statue, Dubya on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincolin dressed up in a flight suit and the under the large "Mission Accomplished" sign declaring "major combat operations" are over. The cheering and overjoyed emotions showed that the U.S. is suceeding on the war on terror.

Then reality set in.

Gone of the glorifcation of this war, day after day we hear on the news the increasing number that our soldiers has died. No adequate equipment for our troops , putting them in further danger. The troops face danger from insurgents that would kill them at any given moment .


The war has a large number of failure after failure. Flawed inteligence, No proof that weapons were made by Saddam Hussein and no threat towards the U.S.

The Bush Crime family and their flunkies over and over convinced us that Iraq was a threat to us . The world was not so convinced but we fell for it hook, line and sinker. The Bushes use 9/11 to constantly scare us into supporting in this unjust war. Despite Bush convincing all the suckers that Saddam is was going to bomb us most of the people, mostly the anti-war groups wasn't buy what Bush was selling. After Bush decided on his own that he would go into Iraq anyway without support of the world , from that moment from the beginning of the war to this day our reputation in the world has been slipping. The Bush Crime family just doesn't care if the world hates us.


Two years from this illegal war has started after all the gimmicks during this war it has shown that this war was nothing but a farce. After thousand upon thousand Iraqis needlessly dying , after over 1500 of our troops needlessly dying and after countless victims needlessly dying at the hands of insurgents and also after an"election" why just why are we still there? Is it to make this moron very important and eventally to rule the world. And to horde all that oil?

I tend to think so.
