Martin Luther King's dream is delayed.

On January 15th , every year we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday. We celebrate and talk endless hours about the works that Dr. King has done in improving the lives of African Americans and working hard to make America a more diverse country. Politicians and community leaders speak out about thier sucesses they have made with the hard and some times dangerous efforts to improve American citizens lives by Dr. King's actions. If we have imagined for a little bit if Dr. King has survived his shooting, if he was still alive what would he think about the America we live in today. How would he react? What would he say about it .

I think that if Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was still alive today he world not like how America has turned out. He wouldn't like a failure of president like George W. Bush. He would not like the war in Iraq. He would speak out vehemently against it like he has spoken out the Vietnam war. I would think that the America he had lived in was simlar the America that he had left. Dr. King wouldn't like how the media is very corrupted by neocons. For the African Americans he would still disappointed of some of the young people don't know or understand the rights they have today was provided by people who have fought and died for them in the past. There are people who only regard Dr. King as the person that brought racial equality but what they do not know that Dr. King wanted people to improve themselves in order change the attitudes of society.

Dr. King has stood up and fought non-violently to get rid of the ignorance that plagued our country for centries. After his death America and Black America has slowly has lost our ways and gone back to ignorance and zealotry. We need to be our own Dr. Martin Luther King's to fight the people that want to hold the country back .
