Get Ready for Super Tuesday!- SuperBowl MMVIII

Hey to everyone in the Bloggosphere

Its been a long while since I last posted. Due to my busy schedule in Real life, but I have been paying attention to the Presidential election. I have been following some of the Democratic debates and not so much on the Republican debates. I have to say that the field of candidates before the Iowa Caucuses and New Hampshire Primary is that I am pleased with all of the candidates for President in the Democratic Party. All the candidates from Senators Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, Former Senators Mike Gravel and John Edwards New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and even Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have various ideas to help fix the problems of the country.

Now that most of the candidates have ended their campaigns after Iowa, and New Hampshire it is down to two candidates for the Democrats: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. It is a truly historic occasion when the top two contenders for the Presidency is a woman and an Black man.

Whoever wins the nomination and wins in the General Election it will be truly a historic moment for America and and all Americans. The posibility that a woman or a Black man will be the president is a historic moment for all of us. Our society had moved forward in handing the Presidency to not only White men but a woman and a minority.

Each candidate have their strenghs and weaknesses and even their own ideas on fixing the toughest problems that we face post-Bush presidency; but I feel whoever wins tomorrow night on SuperDuper Tuesday is the one that is able and well suited to handle the job of the Presidency.

For that, I and this blog will support Barack Obama for president.

Senator Barack Obama to me represents fresh eyes in solving our nations problems. Senator Obama have huge ideas on fixing the problems that America has. He may have been a Senator from Illinois for 3 years and may not have the "experience" that Senator Hillary Clinton may claim to have. However, Barack Obama and his supporters has given us hope and optimism to bring change to our country. I see that Obama is willing to go head to head to tackle the issues and not do things that are politically convienent for them.

Hillary Clinton is a good Senator from my home state of New York. She have done some things that are good for New York even with former president Bill Clinton. However, Senator Clinton has represented the Washington "politics -as-usual" crowd. Only when it is politically convient for her she will go out on a limb, otherwise she looks out for herself. When Hillary cites her "35 year experience" one has to wonder "What experince ? " Let's grant that Hillary has been a First Lady under Bill Clinton. Has tried hard as First Lady to get Americans universal healthcare coverage and was sabatouged by the Republicans but managed to get S-CHIP. And before worked hard for number of issues while in Arkansas when Bill Clinton was governor. What strike a chord with some people is that she has voted for the Iraq War Resolution and not many has forgiven her for that. Hillary is well suited to the task of the presidency however, with her sometimes polically convient ways, claiming experince is not a vaild reason to vote for you.
I think that for most women and some others that having Hillary as president is great but I think that the country isn't ready for a woman to be president yet.

Obama might not have the experience but his approach to problem and finding new ways to solve is why I like Obama so much. He may care to elaborate on the healthcare issue but his approach in solving our problems is necesary to move this country forward into the 21st Century. His political platform is very forward thinking, something else that this country needs after the 8 dreadful years of Bush and Cheney. Obama's way of thinking and his fresh approach to thing is what we need in a president. A president that inspires optimisim and change and to belive in ourselves as Americans that we have the power to change the country and break Washington from its politically convienent ways. This is why will support Senator Obama all the way.

Obama's Positions

Whoever may win the nomination for the Presidency either Obama or Hillary will have to face the Republican field . With the likes of John McCain, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee who want keep things the same , these democratic candidates would bring change to a country in shambles.
