I'm not going to spend any time trying to eulogize this man. However, as a fellow Christian I send my condolences to his family in the time of their loss of a their father, grandfather and husband. But I would place my 2 cents worth of time speaking about the passing of Rev. Jerry Falwell. I would not condone people wanting to dance over his grave (albeit understandable) because of what he has stood for.
Jerry Falwell was at best a major charlatan and at very worse a divisive racist, homophobic shell of a human being, preying on people intolerance and fears and vulernablity of people and pass it off as "Christian values". Something that Christianity abhors against. He lived his life hating against those who are different than him. That there is the honest, unvarnished truth about him
Lets hope Jerry gets a very rude awaking wherever he is. Let him rot(or rest) in pieces He doesn't deserve my respect And that's how I feel about it . Jerry Falwell's death has made the world a better place and people can breath a great sigh of relief. Don't forget, this is a man who h hated Tinky-Winky from Teletubbies calling him gay. His death ,honestly is the best thing that could happen . And Amen to that!
